CCJ & Default from Ex

Hi All,

Any help would be appreciated as I am a desperate woman. I owned a leasehold property with my daughters father and after we split I was forced to move home (via intimidation) whilst he stayed in the property we owned.

After 2 years of trying to sell the shared property I finally got a resolution and the property was sold in 2014. In Oct 2014 after trying to buy my own property I found out that there was a registered CCJ and default in my name for the property and joint account we had. I had no knowledge of either of these otherwise would have dealt with them rather than allow them to affect my credit score which has always been very good.

My problem is I can not get a mortgage now as no lender will borrow to me despite my pleas and other clean history on accounts.

Is there anything I can do to fight this, I feel like I have been punished enough and just want my own property to house me and my daughter.:mad::mad:
