If anyone is attempting to sign up via MSE's Apply Now link for this account, please be aware the link is down and I've reported it. Lets hope it's back up by 8th Feb or the £100 freebe is lost.:(

Hi rustysdad the link seems to be working for me. I am confused though as mse says it doesnt require 2 dd but the website says it does.

Click the "certain criteria" link, whereupon you'll then be told about the DD requirement for the £100 incentive. If you just want the interest, then of course no DDs are required. Maybe that's where your confusion lies?
  • Yeah, I've been trying to apply this afternoon. After clicking on the link the page loads up but after filling details in it just goes nowhere and a technical problem page shows up. Thought it was my computer or something, hopefully will get it sorted soon

Parent company moneysupermarket has a different link (same £100 offer). Maybe try that one instead?...

  • Tried again just now (8.30am 26/1) and page just instantly reloads itself so no further forward.

As an aside, I've checked out the TSB site and it appears that's only the 7 day switching scheme which means they close the account in the bank from which you are 'transferring' - unless you telephone their (TSB's) 03458 number)

I'm also keeping my old account so I will transfer just two DD's, deposit sufficient to benefit from the 5% (up to 2000) and set up a SO from my 'old' account with the req'd minimum 500pm. I'll also set up the Saver (250pm max also 5%) then after a coupla months SO out of TSB the 'excess' back into my 'old' current account or into another good saver elsewhere.

Nottm B/Soc have a 5% at 100pm max till 16 Dec 16 if it's any use to anyone....

So, its wait for MSE's link to come back up or telephone TSB and miss out on the 100!

If you don't use the 7day switching service, which includes closing your old account you wont get the £100
  • Oops. Sorry Ceredigion, as a newcomer I don't know how I did that but, my update (as Rustysdad) superimposed over yours.

People who already have two TSB sole accounts, has anyone tried his luck to switch an account to TSB and is successful ??

Or has anyone with two Classic Plus accounts tried to upgrade his/her enhance account to become TSB classic plus account to make it three

Any info via pm will be very much appreciated ....
