With upheld complaints then nothing happens. The Plevin ruling results in lower redress and is only applicable in some PPI complaints and only those that have been rejected. (most likely on secured or unsecured loans paid as a single premium. Unlikely on mortgage and credit card PPI).

The banks may have to go back over past rejected complaints where plevin applies.
