  • I really meant not to spends on me, but I've clearly not stuck to that, not spending money is so hard!!

https://www.lookfantastic.com/ and use the code LFEL15 - not sure how long it is on for, but it is a good £5 saving! Every time I buy it I swear it goes up a pound, was around £26-28 not that long ago, now it's £32, think beccause it's so popular now xx

  • I had a day out shopping and stopped off at cafe Nero for some FREE drinks! All you need to do is download the app, sign up with any email address (no validation needed) go to settings and insert promo code METRONERO and you get a free drink! It says hot, but my daughter got a passionfruit and mango cooler and I had a large hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows! The offer ends today, but along as you do it by today you have until the 20th to go in a claim it! If anyone reads this before midnight, worth a free drink! It does come up asking for bank details or to link to Apple Pay when you log in, but it's not needed, just ignore that and go straight to settings and put in the code xxx

    Same here, :rotfl:

That’s a good balance transfer offer from Virgin. Excellent idea on keeping the money in the bank though.

  • 4 month sleep regression? I cannot remember how old your baby is but my granddaughter did that and apparently it is very common as babies move from newborn sleep mode to sleeping like the rest of us do so constantly keep waking up and cannot easily get themselves back to sleep. I have no idea what it was, but thankfully she is back to her old ways and sleeping again, other than waking to feed. She is 12 weeks now :heartpuls the weeks just race by!! I have loads of baby books given to me by friends, but have no time to read them!! Probably should have before baby came, not that I would have remembered them lol

Today has been a lovely day and not cost a penny. Well....we were at baby massage which has previously been paid so I am not couting it, then went into work to see everyone and went for lunch with my boss who kindly paid.

I switched my bank account today, got an MSE email telling me about £250 for switching to Clydesdale/Yorkshire bank, was so easy to do! It was a simple 10 minute online application, all you need is £1000 going in a month and set up 2 direct debits and then you get the money paid in 70 days after setting up :T My current bank with my £2500 was always my safety net, especially when I was on my own, but....they have reduced my overdraft to £900 since I don't use it and with the new fees in place I will NOT be using it anyway so it's a win win! I am going to see how much I can make with switching bank accounts.

I am also going to start doing surveys again. I haven't done them since I first did and made about £75 in 2-3 weeks! So it is really silly not to! Some people do great with them, and I want to be one of them! to motivate me I am telling myself I can spend the money on me, soooo....I am buying a suitcase :rotfl: it is so cute (probs not to everyone's taste) but I love it! It is a Lulu Guinness one and £239.99  so I can justify it if I save up survey money....

Anyway, this is turning into an essay, better get going...hope you are all well! xxx

Well done on getting the Clydesdale offer! It was suspended by the time I opened this website. Fabulous offer (will help you save up for that suitcase ;) ).
