'U' on utility credit file?

I have just looked at our statutory credit reports and equifax have each month for or utility company marked as a 'U'.

I undertand this means 'unknown' but wondering if it will have adverse effects when applying for a mtg next year?

We pay a set amount by DD each month no never miss payments etc

Rather than "unknown" it means "not updated", there is an account from that supplier but they have for some reason not reported the status. This will have no effect on your history.
