Should banks be informed of new electoral roll address?

I've recently moved into a rental property. My electoral roll information has successfully changed and I've noticed new recent utilities (broadband, gas etc) having linked to this new address on my credit report.

I have a number of credit cards and of course a current account which are all still sending statements to my previous address, which is my mums address. I had initially kept it this way in case we wanted to move out after 6 months and wouldn't have to inform them again of an address change.

We are intending to stay at this address, so my question is is my credit and current accounts being linked to a previous address (not my current electoral roll address) having an effect on my credit score in any way?

You credit 'score' is a randomly generated number designed to fool you in signing up for the CRA's subscription services. (So that you can carefully protect this randomly generated number!)

If you have multiple addresses on file you may run into issues with a lack of clarity.

why don't you want to change the address?

I think this would flag up issues when you apply for things most definitely.

Is it really that much trouble to change an address, be easier in the long run to change the address no.
