Instant pot duo

I'm thinking about an Instant Pot. I used to use my pressure cooker more, but it's not that good, the seal isn't sealing as well as it should. I think I would use quite a few of the functions. Wondering how some of you early adopters are getting on and if you have further comments to make about things that you have tried.
My main things that I use/d the pressure cooker for are/were
* pulses
*cooking seville oranges prior to making marmalade,
* quick mince in gravy.
*gammon joint."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Thanks purpleivy. Sorry I can't help, but I was wondering about this too. Use my slow cooker a lot during the winter, don't use pressure cooker at all now. (I just don't like it the way I liked the older Prestige model I had for years, can't explain why, maybe I should persevere...) I also make yogurt regularly using the Lakeland yogurt maker so I'm thinking that one 'gadget' that does it all would save space in my 'challenging' kitchen! I have an easyyo, but find it a faff, expensive to use the sachets and I haven't worked out how to do it without. Had a Lakeland bulk maker, gave it away when I got the Easyyo, I think on balance I preferred the bulk maker. We have started using a lot of yogurt and although Aldi Greek isn't at all expensive (might even be cheaper than DIY if you are straining to get the result) it would be nice to have the option.
I also have a slow cooker, large size, so that could go I guess. I have a decent (large) kitchen, but still have kitchen stuff littered all over the place as I have a few 'gadgets' aka power tools!"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. I must admit that I love the Lakeland maker and would find it difficult to switch to a different 'gadget' (So low tech that it hardly qualifies!) I make 8 little tubs of the stuff every couple of days!
I find that I can mix it while waiting for the kettle to boil and it is so easy to wash up. A prime requisite for me, I find that a lot of gadgets lose their attraction if they are a nuisance to clean!

That's another good thing about the Instant Pot - just one thing to go into the dishwasher.
I wanted a pressure cooker and this has replaced my slow cooker and Remoska as well.0 -

I got one. I was going to make vegetable and blue cheese soup for lunch yesterday, but there wasn't any blue cheese. I found some left over Boursin in the freezer, so used some of that instead. It was really good.
Pressure cooker can go out. Seal isn't much good anyway."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

I'm thinking that doing mushy peas from a packet would be a good thing to do in the Instant Pot. I'm a dab hand at boiling them over in the microwave!"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"
