New Boiler (Unvented Cylinder)

Options
Recently moved house (Birmingham - 4 bed/2 bath) and has 10 year old inefficient Potterton system boiler in downstairs utility with a hot water vented cylinder in upstairs airing cupboard and cold water tanks in loft. Hot water pressure is very low (particularly in shower) so investigating options including new boiler or shower pump.

If anyone could advise or has anything good/bad to say about Unvented Cylinders (especially the noise as recommended to install in airing cupboard in main bedroom).

I would go for a unvented cylinder over a combi most of the time. Noise? just insulate/sound proof the cupboard if you need to. But you wont get much noise.
The detailed quote, contains flush system near the end, best to flush the system before installing new boiler.

What make and model is the potterton and is it in good condition? Ten years isnt old for that type of boiler. Mine is 35 years old. I'm leaning toward the unvented cylinder only..
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
