I would like to upgrade within 12 months about June/August.....
I opened barclaycard initial in august last year...

lady on chat said if offer still available I should be eligible

I would love to upgrade now but only had account for 6 months

ive just done it GTR King, moved from Barclaycard Freedom Rewards, and i'm waiting for my new cards to arrive.
word elsewhere is that they are flexible re. moving cardholders between Freedom Rewards, Cashback and Platinum.
to be honest i'm not sure how you will get on with Initial.. but just keep using the card and repaying (unless you have BT balance on the card-in which case, just keep repaying), and you are building up good history with them.

I have a £1,200 limit think it being increased to £1,600 (In February)

I always pay on time and never been near my limit...

I usually spend £100/£150 each month (No more and always pay it back)

I have no BT at all...

I have sent them a message hopefully they will accept lady on FB Chat said 12 months but will try my luck....

How long you had your Freedom Reward card for??

If they say no will try again in another 6 months and keep using my card

    sounds good..
if there is any other spending you can channel via the card, always paying back in full, it might be better still.
  • I transfered to the cashback from the initial at the end of 6 months so you should be fine.

normaly have to call them for it, I had to when going from platinum
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
  • Hi GTR I also upgraded from an initial to Cashback just after 6 months. I enquired via secure message about the Cashback account and was offered it straight away, also increased my limit since then. Just need to contact them again in February to see whether I am able to reduce the APR.
