It's not a difficult riddle, 3 people pay £9 each (£27 total) for a £25 room, £2 left over, which the clerk keeps..
Didn't say it was. But you'd be surprised how many struggle with it just because the riddle says to add the £2 to the £27. The £2 is already included in the £27 when what they should be doing is adding the £1 each of the 3 received back.You keep using that word.
