removing financial connections

I am now divorced and my ex is listed as financially connected to me on credit files. He has not paid his cards since so I need to get rid of this connection. Will I have to write to both Experian and Equifax?

My deceased father is also on there for some reason though we had no joint financial connection at all.

Also, does changing back to my maiden name affect my credit rating at all?

And also CallCredit. I believe all have the appropriate forms on their websites.

An alternative would be to write to the lenders who have originally 'confirmed' the association(s).

    As above.

I wouldn't think so. You'll just have an "alias" that's all, but you're still the same person!
