Switched current account

Looking at the T & C’s for Halifax it seems that you can earn the £ 100 bonus just for switching your main account to them. The T & C’s doesn’t mention that you have to have a minimum of two active direct debits set up. The only criteria I can see is that you use the Hailfax’s switching service to close your old account and move to them.
The Reward accounts differ slightly in that you need to pay £ 750 a month in these accounts.
Please correct me if I’m wrong.
I have a Halifax account that receives my salary and pays just a few direct debits.
I have a Santander 123 account, which is inadvertently funded (see below) with at least the requisite £500 a month. I then remove what's left after my utilities bills have been paid by DD and cashback credited. Since this is my hub account for funding some of my high interest current accounts by reciprocal SOs, this account sees at least £4-5,000 worth of credits each and every month.
I have a TSB account that receives a monthly credit of £500 and is used for all my small value transactions, ie contactless for <£30.
I have a YB account that receives a £1,000 credit each month and which I draw my weekly cash most weeks from.
I also have an RBS Select account which receives my secondary, tertiary, et al income streams, in the form of cheques, electronic payments, and occasionally cash. No bills are paid from this account, just electronic transfers out to better accounts.
Question...Which is my "main account"?0 -
Firstly you are correct....I don't have a BANK OF SCOTLAND Reward Current Account..it is indeed a HALIFAX Reward Current Account. I must apologise to the other posters who queried this.
I was going to accept the apology and gloss over the mouthiness in a couple of posts, but then I saw this one:YorkshireBoy
Thank You for the feedback. It would be quite nice if you could impart your expertise without being so patronising.
Most newbies are generally really grateful for the amazing amount and depth of experience readily shared by volunteers. Occasionally you do get some who seem to think the volunteers should be glad that they are even allowed to offer support. A great way to get answers to questions you didn't even know you had. Not.0 -

Colsten, really ? Please get over yourself. I'm pretty sure the OP doesn't give a jot whether you accept the apology or not.
Are you a "volunteer" on this site or just a member like the rest of us ? If it's the latter then with all due respect nobody on here knows everything about everything regardless of how many posts they have to their name so please let's cut some of the "newbies" some slack. No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30 -

As a newbie myself, I'd like to say a big thanks to Colsten, Yorkshireboy and others that have helped me get started in this money merry go round. I think it's admirable that you take the time to answer the same old questions over and over despite the fact that the answers are on many many other threads. I don't think I'd have the patience you show when with a little more reading and searching about most of us can find what we need without posting. Anyway, thanks again and I know what accounts I have!0
