Lloyds package £25pm for free overdraft

I've been paying £25 per month for a couple of years to qualify for Lloyds' max interest free overdraft of £500. However half way through they have reduced my limit to £400 which has on occasion led to bank charges when an unexpected payment has gone out/ had to be made etc. I have registered for the mobile phone insurance, holiday insurance and AA but have no interest in the sentinel, ID fraud protection, home emergency insurance and other bits. Would I be able to reclaim any part of the £25 monthly payment? What do you think?

Sounds like you want a refund which you are unlikely to get,
based on what you have said.

    Sorry.

No. Package deals are a package of benefits. Some of which may be beneficial. Others not. If you buy a modern phone, not only does it make calls but it can look at facebook, twitter, tell you directions etc. if you dont want those things, you dont get the phone any cheaper.

You'd need to provide more details to have any hope. As others have said, it's unlikely if you used the benefits. I successfully reclaimed packaged account fees but that was because the NatWest employee (wrongly) informed me that the only way to increase my overdraft was to take their Adv Gold Account almost a decade ago. Plus I didn't need or use all but 1 of the benefits.
Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.
