Refusal to release goods

Hello there,
I am very frustrated and angry because of a shipping company will not release the goods abroad due to a verbal argument that happened over the phone in the UK.Customs and excise will not release the goods abroad until they have authorisation from the company in the UK.
The company here where the argument happened is not listening to any of my pleas and just keep ignoring me.They have held onto the delevry for nearly 4 weeks.
Can someone please let me know what action I can take much appreciated.
Thanks:mad::mad::mad:

Sounds like you owe import fees but it's anyone's guess. No one can help unless they know the problem.0

Hi there,
No sorry I have paid all the charges upfront so that's not the issue the problem is that of the argument over the phone. They are holding that against me despite the fact that they were the ones who started the abuse.
Thanks0 -

There might be suspicion the goods are counterfeit or that the OP has no authority to export these items (particular if it is a considerable quantity, indicating a commercial transaction.)
Some merchandise might be cheaper here than in some other part of the world. But if the producer has export/import channels in place, he won't allow 'grey imports' through some other channel.0 -
Since no one here is privy to the content of your telephone conversation (nor of the "abuse" allegedly therein), you are basically wasting your time posting about it on the forum. Unless you are prepared to share the details of the telephone conversation (and probably not even then), the only thing you can do is liaise with the company until you can come to a mutual agreement.the problem is that of the argument over the phone. They are holding that against me despite the fact that they were the ones who started the abuse.0 -
Hi there,
Thanks to all you who replied to my thread it looks like that maybe we will have to come to a mutual agreement.0 -
I'm puzzled at what this has to do with credit cards?0

I'm just puzzled.0

So which is it? Is it the shipper or Customs & Excise who won't 'release' the goods? And is it because of the verbal arguement or because they require authorisation from "the company" (erm, what company??) in the UK.Hello there,

As others have said, we cannot help without more details.Optimists see a glass half full
Pessimists see a glass half empty
Engineers just see a glass twice the size it needed to be

You have not given anywhere near enough information.
Is this an inbound or outbound consignment?
What are the terms of shipment?
What was the argument about?
What reason has been given for the consignment being held?0
