British Gas refuse to swap meter

So who changed your e7 to standard for free "cameltoe " ? ( sorry I m just not keen on your new username ). I m interested because I m thinking of going the other way..standard to e7 and as it is a service I would fully expect to pay a cost. Scottish Power will charge in excess of £200 to switch prepay to credit so I expect that is the unsubsidised costs the contracted DNO s will charge for this service. Meter fitters who routinely go around fitting end of life or new smart meters will come along and fit a like for like meter. Eco 7 to standard and vice versa is a special request and I would expect a payment of at least 50% of the true costs. The OP has already said that BG won t do it for free, possibly EDF will, we await Dogshomes advice. This question of an e7/standard routinely comes up and so far I ve not got an answer of who will do it for free. You say your supplier did it for free, so who was it ?
Ok if you say you are not the former "espresso " of approx 16000 posts from 2005 commenting on the same Techie, Energy and DIY forums as you are now with your mate Andy_WSM slavishly following you around thanking you its a massive co incidence seeing as how you both use the same unique posting style. Not bad after being a newbie only a few months ago. I dont believe you one bit mate." espresso " has nt posted for a year.
I wonder what the forum rules are at switching usernames or using multiple usernames.0 -
When I was in a flat with E7, nPower came and swapped the meter to a standard one at no cost.0

Still banging on about other users etc. rather than discussing the incorrect information that you posted above re meter changes and rewiring being necessary!
I read when I joined this forum a couple of months ago, that it has over one million registered users. How many different ways are there to post on a forum that make you believe that I am another user! You don't seem to understand that similar people e.g. qualified engineers will have the same knowledge and interests, leading them to post on the same boards here.
The difference is that I only post factual information about subjects that I understand, rather than your fictional assumptions! It does annoy me when I see fiction posted as fact by idiots and I do feel that this should be pointed out for the benefit of other readers.
Why do you not simply ignore my posts, rather than derailing every thread with your silly and irrelevant accusations.0 -
You ve been spotted by another user as well espresso.Amazing how you just appeared in Nov 2015 without the "newbie " greeting. Also get rid of that disgusting username or join the womens forums having a !!!!! about it.0
