VueEntertainmentBirkenhead: Credit Card Unauthorised Transaction

Hi All
Just checked my online account, and saw 2 transactions for VueEntertainmentBirkenhead @ £4.60 each.
Did a Google search, looks like cinema tickets, which I never buy, so contacted my bank.
(Card is a Visa, but tied up with my bank, OneAccount, so gets cleared each week. Luckily I can see pending transactions a week before they get cleared.)
Helpful lady spoke to their Fraud department, and they recognise this name as (yet another) common scammer transaction, where they make a small purchase, over phone or internet, then hit the account if it works.
Bank has cancelled my card, and will refund the charges; I have to keep a close (even closer?) eye on account for the next week or so, and report anything else that I wasn't expecting.
Unfortunately, I use this card on all my online accounts, so will have to spend the next day going and cancelling them all and putting an alternative on.
Hope my online and offline shopping I've done in the last couple of days goes through ok, although the bank said it should be fine. Hope so, as I've a large (few hundred pounds) credit going back on that card this week too.
Anyway, thought I'd better warn people to look out for the name VueEntertainmentBirkenhead.
I hope nothing else shows, but will update.
PS> Card never leaves me, and noone else knows my pin...now worrying how this has happened?

Vue Entertainment are not at fault here, the person committing the fraud is. The name could have been anything: cinema, takeaway etc.Gone ... or have I?0

Hi dmg24
yes, I realise that, but as my bank immediately recognised the name of the trader used, I thought it might be useful to warn others.
The bank told me that they have had many small fraudulent transactions recently using this merchant, so may be a trend ?
regards
