Repeat- SAAS.

Hi,

SAAS funded a repeat year due to a breakdown of my mental health. Went back in September there and ended up really unwell needing hospital treatment due to a OD.

My mental health has got bad enough I have to see my Psychiatrist again this month the first in say two years!

I honestly can't face uni work have no motivation for life in general never mind uni! However I fear SAAS will not cover me since they granted the plus one year. Is it a case of if I can't do this SAAS will not fund me coming back?

Really sad at the thought I might need to surrender uni but I just can't muster anything. Makes me upset typing this to be fair. Feel stranded.

I can't answer the question about funding but I wanted to say I hope you can get through the difficult time you are experiencing.

When I and those I love have had overwhelming problems I like to remove any non essential pressures from the mix.

Try to concentrate on regaining some sense of wellbeing and don't let all the outside issues take over. If it sounds patronising its not intended that way.

Money is important but not at the moment. study is admirable and useful but hopefully when you are feeling able to do it you will get the chance.

Spoke with SAAS and she said that I could still get funding even though I used my plus one year. So just need to speak with the uni.
