Simply Rewards*. Cashback on top brands. Simple. OR IS IT ?

Anyone else had problems with Nationwide Simple Rewards ?
I last year used their App to shop through to Amazon for £25 cash back on £100 purchases.

So far I have sent complaints to Nationwide through the Simply Rewards website, no replies on 3 complaints, and no tracking at all on purchases.

Look forward to the answer Thanks.

They claimed to have made 3 payments to my bank account, none of which I actually received. I complained and they said that they had definitely gone through. I then asked for full details, so I could report this theft from my bank account. Strangely they then decided that the payments had not gone through and said they would be reissued. I've still yet to receive them and have checked that they have the correct bank details.

I think their business model is to sign up people, who forget to cancel the DD, so end up paying for a 'service' that they don't actually use. If you sign up, make your initial cash back claims, cancel before making a payment, then your payments seem to go mysteriously astray.
  • No complaint at all, quite the opposite. Spent money with a retailer on Tuesday giving 15% cash back, was notified by email the next day that the cashback had gone through, and my account was credited later that same day.

No waiting for a minimum amount to be earned, no waiting for a monthly payment date - more or less instant cashback for me with Nationwide.

What on earth are you talking about.

Nationwide Simple Rewards is free, and there is no service you pay for and no DD.

Sorry thought you were talking about Simply Rewards, who give cash back but charge a monthly fee.

Hi there. https://nationwide.visaoffers.eu/ seems to upgraded their website and currently i cannot see any offers there, just the message "Sorry, no offers available right now. Please come back soon!".

Few days ago the usual offers was there, is it just me or they did something wrong with the new website? Thanks in advance
