Default against me

Hi I was wondering if anyone can help me and my family out we have just tried to purchase a new home and rent out our current house and to my horror we have been refused the buy to let mortgage as lowell portfolio/Bryan carter solicitors / fredrickson international have taken over a debt orange mobile phone company say I owe. I had a £25 a month contract with orange for several years but came to a head with them when they decided over a 3 month period would take over £300 out my account and would not cap my account when I queried with them so had no alternative but to cancel my direct debit with them as they didn't eve send any letters regards taking this money out of my bank. Now I have attempted to contact this lowell portfolio who said they own debt but I need to deal with fredrickson int as they are dealing with it so contacted them who say I need to speak to Bryan carter who in turn say I need to speak to lowell portfolio I think you know where this is going I have been going in circles and not one of these companies will accept responsibility for this default against my name. I have contacted experian who have contacted lowell who have given experian the number I need to contact rang this a low and behold have same issues as above round and round in circles i have sent a email to watchdog and am awaiting a response but this is causing me and my family a lot of stress as we feel we were ripped off by orange and have always wanted to contest in court but have never been given this chance. Can anyone help please it would be very much appreciated.

so you canceled you DD and left it knowing that you still owed them, and now don't want the default that was a result?

What was this £300 that they took out of your account for.


They have no responsibility to cap your account, it was your account and youre responsibility to stay under your allotment.


You cancelled your DD, now that was really daft..... this is the result.


Unless it was defaulted in Error you have no chance what so ever of having it removed.


It will be their for 6 years unfortunately.

Its of your own doing, why did you not complain about the money being taken and ask for your pac code.
