The lack of humidity in the cabin air can lead to dehydration. I definitely feel dehydrated when flying, even after a short distance. It can also be hours (up to 7 or 8) between passing security and reaching your non-airport destination.
You're not going to dehydrate because you're sat in an aircraft/airport for a few hours without a drink unless you're ill. You may well be thirsty but calling it dehydration is an exaggeration.Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0 -
I often wonder what's happened in the last few years that means people can't bare to not be within easy reach of a bottle of water for a few hours.
Each to their own. But I agree..... what is this water thing?
Surely if you are that tight and anal you would have researched to high heaven the FREE water in your departure airport, without telling us all that you are that fekkin tight!
Sorry for the rant, but has to be said. The passenger has paid a lot to get where they are going, but free water (as opposed to a pound or so for a litre) is the cause du jour.
!!!!!! really?0 -
I suspect TTGS is playing the Jester but you can double your free wifi time if you sign up with a user account under "MyGatwick" at https://www.gatwickairport.com.
No jester me.
It's a serious point raised in this article I read.

Well it's a grey area.
Impossible to prove as theft in court as the company was inviting customers to leave whatever money they wished rather than subject them to paying a real person.
And as the company is still being fundamentally dishonest with customers by asking for their boarding passes I considered it to be a fair trade-off.
Let's call is a 1-1 draw in the battle between consumer and big business.

I wonder if everyone is feeling quite so holier-than-thou now ?0 -
