BT Mobile - Amazon Voucher

I bought a BT Mobile in November. I was informed that I would receive an Amazon voucher within 30 days. I still have not received it. I chased it after about 35 days and again last week. BT have emailed today to say that I should have the voucher in another 30 days.

I am wandering if I should do something about this e.g. make a complaint. I have stuck to my end of the bargain however they have not. I have made a complaint but they do not seem to concerned about it. They said I will "eventually" receive the voucher. Is there anything I can do?

There were a few items I missed out on in the January sales as I was waiting for the voucher. I could still buy these items at a higher price.

  • Did you claim the voucher or just wait for it?

    You have to claim the voucher after you have received the service it wont arrive unless you submit a claim online.

    As it is an online offer the call centres won't deal with it.

    Best to use the contact us service on bt.com to chase it.

    As for anything extra due to missing out on sales etc no chance i'm afraid.

    Yes, I immediately went to the web form and requested the voucher (after buying the phone).

    Why do you say: "No chance". It is stated in the offer that I would receive the voucher within 30 days and I did not. If I broke the terms and conditions then I am sure I would be penalized (fortunately I never have).

    I think the 'no chance' is regarding the fact that you missed out on some discounts on sale items available in January , so if you said 'if I had the voucher inside the 30 days I could have bought item x for £30, but it's now £40' there is 'no chance' they will give you £10 compensation as well as the £30 voucher

    As stated, there is no chance at all of there being compensation for goods you could have bought cheaper, especially as the voucher is for a different company to BT.
