To explain just exactly what is available by way of grants, loans for students when they reach 20yrs. My daughter has been given a loan of £200 per month for this year from SASS for her studies. I am a single parent on low income and I really dont think this will assure her ability to finish the course, she has one more year to do after this aswell!. There really should be more info available online dont you all agree?.

she could try the access to learning fund at her university, but that information will vary by institution - there is a great thread on this board if you search for it.

you daughter should also speak to people at student services wherever she is - and as she's in her 20s, it should also argueably be up to her to be dealing with this..... can she work alongside her course, and full time during the holidays to increase her monthly income?
