Hi, I'm not very techie and would appreciate any advice regarding setting up a 'Puppy Cam' at home!
We are about to pick up our new Puppy - for the first month he will be accompanied by at least one of the family all day, every day. But when he is 4 months old he will spend up to 2 hrs in his outdoor run/kennel.
For peace of mind I was thinking of setting up a 'surveillance' system - I thought one camera - so I could view the puppy pen over the internet at work.
Initial investigations on Amazon have surprised me, in that it seems possible to get a wireless camera that is a complete package - coming with it's own web-address and gives access via the internet or via my 3G mobile phone.
Our home computer system is a series of 3 laptops which all connect to wireless broadband.
Any advice on setting this up .. feasibility-wise and recommendations for an outside camera would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Sorry, but this is never going to work. Dogs are notoriously bad with mice and keyboards - their paws are too big. Plus even if you can train them to use the keyboard and mouse, they'll be surfing for !!!!!! every time your backs turned. We ended up taking the PC off our labrador.0 -

I was worried he would stick a picture of himself sitting smiling in his run in front of the lens while he nipped round the back for a crafty fag .... oh no .. hadn't thought about the Spaniel on-line !!!!!! scene ......
Back to the drawing board then!!!!!!
:rotfl: :rotfl: thank you!0
