Tesco Car Insurance Scam/False Advertising etc

Just went to Tesco yesterday and my dad picked up a car insurance leaflet.
Dont know if youve seen it but on the front it says
"We'll beat you renweal quote or give you a £20 Gift Card"
So my dad inquired and the price they quoted was £15 over what he is paying at the minute.
As stated in the leaflet he asked for his £20 gift card. They told him that the gift card was only for use with the car insurance and he has to take out the car insurance with them at the quoted price (£15 over what he's paying at the minute)
Therefore he would only be saving £5. He could only get a £20 gift card if he took out the insurance, what a joke!

The key word is "Or".
They didn't beat the quote but gave him the £20 gift card instead.0
