How can a shadow works and pensions minister appear to know so little about the subject.

Because they are a member of the money tree benefits for all party?

I sometimes wonder if politicians are really that ignorant. Are they genuinely that useless (I'm sure some are) or is selective amnesia a bit more widespread when the opportunity to score cheap points, do a bit of grandstanding and get in the news comes along.

Sadly its grandstanding against the Government, not being representative at all.

No doubt she is also against equality and also other people paying ha.

Because if she, and her colleagues, were any good she wouldn't be a shadow minister.

    Hi Everyone,

The Chair of the Petitions Committee has asked me to pass on the following message to you all.

    Hi Money Saving Experts,

I’d like to thank everyone who took part in this web forum discussion in advance of Monday’s debate on transitional arrangements for women born in the 1950s who’ve been affected by changes to the state pension age. We read through all of your comments and made a summary of them available to MPs before the debate. Many of you will have heard the points you made reflected in the debate.

The Petitions Committee believes it is important to do as much as possible to get the public involved in petition debates. We are extremely grateful to all of you for taking the time to contribute.

Yes - that's excellent. Though apparently the petition was not really the petition .... kinda like it was put up there on false pretences and it seems the Pension Committee has been had ... as as those MP's debating a petition that never was ... apparently.
