Can you get 'Official Copy Entries' from the Land Registry if the property is unregistered?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Bit tricky I would have thought - since the LR only (IIRC) knows about property which has been registered.0

No. Unregistered land has not yet been.registered with the land registry. Ownership is proven with the old style paper deeds.0

That's what I would have thought - just wanted to know why the solicitor wants to charge me for 'Official Copy Entries' when logic would dictate that there is no entry to copy! Unless you know of a reason?0

Do they know that it's unregistered?0

Probably just a C&P error from the last quote.

It's from the bill, not a quote and it's £14.0 -

It wasn't on the quote but it was on the bill.
The quote said £4 for a 'SIM search' and the bill said £14 for 'Office Copy Entries'.
I'd appreciate knowing what I'm talking about before I say anything.0 -
Maybe a search to confirm that there isn't already a registered title affecting the property? (or getting details of one to check it isn't relevant). Just guessing as I'm not too familiar with English procedure.0
