Does anyone know of a headcollar the same as the Gencon but with thicker/more padded material? It needs to have that same figure of 8 set up please! :)

    There's this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/CUSHION-PADDED-COLOURS-HEADCOLLAR-pulling/dp/B00I3IPG1E/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1453463496&sr=8-5&keywords=gencon+collar

Try typing gencon into ebay / amazon - they usually come up with similar options.

If you are not married to the exact configuration, I recommend Halti Optifit. Very comfortable for the dog and gets away from some of the sizing problems some dogs have with the original.

That's exactly what I'm looking, will get one ordered. Thank you :D
  • I had mine made on the Indi-Dog website. Had to measure my dogs face before it was made. They are strong, and padded with fleece, and my dogs find them very comfy.

    I recommend them completely :)

That sounds nice! I'll have a look at that site, thanks.

There's the link to the head collars, mine have the £10 ones. Here's a pic...

If you do decide to order from them, look on their Facebook page as they have an offer on until the end of January, I think its either 20 or 30% off.

Can you move the clip bit so it's more round the side of the head instead of the back? (If that makes sense!) as in the picture of it on the site it looks directly behind the head (similar to a Canny Collar)

The picture won't work on my stupid work computer lol I'll have a look on FB too, thank you

Yes, the clip could be where you want. I like it at the back because there's less chance of damage to the neck if they pull, the neck doesn't twist round like it does with the Halti type.

I have ordered her a black one with red padding :D I also found the discount code you were speaking off! Generally, she is good on the lead but I require more control when we meet other dogs :D

Can't wait for it to arrive!
