Yes the donotreply@morrisonsplc.co.uk email address. There was an almost instant email acknowledgement of receipt followed two minutes later by a phone call from the company.0

Just sent them an email at 11.19. Had a phone call at 11.22 to say they are going to look into it and clarifying what they need from me to do that.
I'll let you know what happens.
Thanks for all your helpful advice.
Well done
Everybody must understand that these supermarkets are in a sorry state right now including Morrisons.
For some reason, whenever there are articles about them they point the finger at Aldi or Lidl and the supermarkets have tunnel vision about these discounters. For those who have shopped at the discounters, it is very clear that both Aldi and Lidl do not hold the same immense range of products that the main supermarkets do.
So, the supermarkets really do need to look elsewhere as to why their profits are constantly dropping.
Profits are made from sales and that means customers through the door. The point they are missing is that if they hurt a customer, they simply will not return and they will tell their friends, it does not take long with supermarket profits to make a loss.
There is no doubt that the parking company scammers are playing a big part in the problems they have right now and its not going to improve.
Yes, of course appeal to a parking ticket company as shown here but as the CEO is responsible for the profits of his company, he needs to know why shoppers are voiding his stores.
Let's face it, nobody has to shop at Morrisons, they are just another supermarket.
Many retailers now understand the severe impact these parking scammers are having, hence they will cancel these stupid charges.
But, you have to go to the top such as the CEO. The store managers have no authority, they just manage the store, it is the head office who deal with the parking cowboys be it direct or via the landowners but THEY CAN get the ticket cancelled.
To conclude, all supermarkets must kick out parking cowboys who are currently treating their customers with contempt and extortion let alone the harassment and wild threats.0 -
Update - Just had a phone call from Morrisons to say the parking charge has been cancelled. A letter is on the way to confirm.
Thanks again to everyone who offered their advice, it was a lot easier than I thought to sort it out but I would never have known who to contact without your guidance.0 -
I'm blogging examples where the ticket says one thing and the parking charge another. Would love to blog this case.

Unfortunately I do not have the ticket from the date in question, only one from a few weeks earlier. I know the ticket said 18.00 because I checked it, as I always do, as the machines are so unreliable on the site (breaking down, not printing properly etc.). Otherwise I would have happily shared the information with you.0 -

Definitely a ParkingEye machine. They make at fortune with these at Barnet, Burton - in fact anywhere where they have a machine.
Send a letter to your local paper and tell them about the [STRIKE]scam [/STRIKE]machine error. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
