Self Assessment - Online Payment not showing om account

Hello
I made a payment following my SA return by the HMRC 'Worldpay' online system with my debit card on 20/01 in the morning and received an online receipt.
Yesterday, 21/01, I received a text saying I must pay by 31/1 or incur a penalty.
This morning I have logged on to my online HMRC account and the payment is still not showing, however the transaction is pending on my debit card. I have confirmed that the 10 digit Unique Tax Payer reference is correct.
Has anyone else had this issue - surely the payment should show immediately ? I am now worried that the payment has gone astray and HMRC will place a fine. I will phone HMRC when they open, but wonder if anyone has experienced similar?

HMRC payments do not show immediately on the website. "Payments take 4 to 7 working days to appear on this page. Completed return amounts take 1 to 2 days to appear on this page."
There are clearly a few systems at work on the HMRC website which work in delayed batches, so it's completely normal for you not to see your payment for a few days. This is everybody's fault but mine.0 -
I made my Worldpay online payment to HMRC in December and it still does not show online. I have used chat and have called. First, they have to send my problem to a team to decide who to send my problem to. That took over a week. Now it has been sent to the specialist team and it will take 30 more days for them to resolve it. I did receive a letter in the post saying that they were reviewing my enquiry. I didn't get any notification that the tax was due by 31 January.0
