Rather at odds with your sig below this post

Retired Early (40's) & Comfortably enjoying ourselves on £12,000/year Landlord of a rented house, no car.

Evict your tenants and your wife won't be homeless - simples

I get the impression happy's circumstances aren't nearly as rosey/ smug/ boastful as his signature implies ;)

    Funny how people's minds work

When hubby couldn't get work in this country, he commuted to London to earn a wage so that we didn't have to rely on government hand outs

He didn't go and they say, hey suki, go claim as a single woman and we can live the life of Riley at the tax payers expense

Near enough broke us as a couple, when a year turned to 9 :(. But it's what we did so we didnt need to claim

Thanks for all your feedback everyone.

I am struggling to seek professional work in the UK in my local area, my logic is that if I am going to relocate somewhere in the UK, I might as well go the full way and earn good money outside the UK.

I guess she will not be entitled for housing benefit but I was hoping she would be.

It can't be good money if you can't afford to support your family on it.
I smell a troll, especially with the AE.
