How many times can you use the 'switch service' and claim rewards

I have tried to Google this...

How many times can I use the current account switch service and get paid for it? I got £125 from Halifax last April and was just wondering If I could now close that one and move elsewhere?

On the whole you can make use of each offer offer once.

Oh, thats good then. I dont know where I got the idea from that you could only use the service (and get money from any bank) once. Do you think it would look bad if I did this say once a year?

Many people on here have done multiple switches. Some have done more than 20;)

As long as you fulfil the T&C of the particular switch incentive you want to get, you'll be fine.

Well I'm targeting 8 switches over the next month, so I think you ought to be ok with that

I've done 5 switches in 18 months- go for it! Not had any problems at all so far.

do it once a day while the offers are there, provided that you have the means and fulfill the T&C.
Read the boards to see what is on offer.
Not enough direct debits ? 'Create' them (see boards)
Don't have eg £1000 + £1500 + £750, etc. to pay into each account ? Roll the (same) money around the accounts by s/order and/or faster payments. (see boards)
Don't "close" an a/c. It may be of use for switching. Leave eg £1 in it.
Take their money/offer,, even if you only spend an M&S voucher on nice bacon !
