switching accounts using a debit card-less current account

Options
Quick question, will there be any issues that you can think of by switching a old current account (it is used to hold money only) that doesn't have any active debit cards associated to it (we use other accounts for card spends) to first direct for the new customer incentive offer? (We are new customers this week)
Thank you in advance

You don't have to have a debit card to switch. However if you attempt to switch without providing the card number and there is a live debit card on the old account (whether you use it or not) the switch will be rejected by the old bank.

Awesome thanks. No there is no live cards I double checked with the old bank, and they confirmed no active cards on the account so that won't be an issue :) Thanks for you input
