Do I need life insurance?

Are you sure you have no charges to pay if you cancel?
You did tell us you took this life insurance policy out because you "had" to - now you have confirmed this was not a condition of your lender, then was it a condition of your mortgage broker for finding you a loan?
If so, you may have agreed to reimburse them for any lost commission should you cancel early.0 -
Well I looked back through the emails and what the mortgage advisor actually said was 'You need to get Life and critical illness cover', he didn't actually say why. I think I just read more into it.
I didn't pay anything to the mortgage advisor, he was paid by Cavendish legal services, it was some sort of package deal between them and the Housing Association. None of it was actually contingent on me getting life insurance it seems, it was just that the way he phrased it made it sound like I had to get it.0
