google chrome cast

Just had a new TV and I was going to treat myself to a chrome cast dongle so I can sync my tablet to the TV.
But I have just looked on google and I cant find it.
Have they stopped making it or is there something similar on the market I could get instead?

Mymemory.co.uk had the original versions on as a cheap offer (end of line I suppose) a few weeks ago and they may still have them. It works as well as the later version.

The new version is £30 from Tesco, Argos etc. I've got the original and am very happy with it, not sure what the difference between the two is?

I have looked on google shop and it seems to do alot more than i thought.
All I want it for is to use my TV as a large screen when using my tablet, I can do this cant I?

I can use it as a big screen for my laptop but if there's a moving image it buffers a lot. That could be my laptop of course. Direct from the router it's fine.

I've used mine to cast a football stream in the laptop browser to my TV ... generally works very well; any buffering is with the source stream not the casting.

Used mine to cast tennis this morning. Beautiful picture/stream throughout duration of match.
