Someone had better tell my phone then because I've just made a payment using just my fingerprint.

But a presumption here will be that the payment you have just done is to a previously set up known account/Bill. A new account would have to be set up online (utilising normal security) before it is trusted/can be used for mobile app payments.

Absolutely! Just watch old people's fingers being chopped off so that fraudsters can hack into their FD accounts on their iOS devices. I suspect A&E Depts across the country will start to get busy very soon....:rotfl:

I know you weren't being serious, but in case anyone is getting ideas - this won't work because Touch ID will not work with a severed finger.

    Why does it not work?

I currently have the Secure Key but will need to transfer to the digital secure key to use Touch ID, do you need to create a separate password for the Digital Secure Key when you set it up?

Yes, a digital secure key uses an alphanumeric password rather than a numeric pin.
