Ebay Threats

Yesterday, after winning a bid on Ebay I have found out that the goods are fake and breach uk law of which ebay has now removed the listing .The seller has said that they are going to bring the item to my home and collect the money. I dont tolerate bullies and wont accept this behavier and therefore suggest to name and shame these people. If there are any persons who has or is suffering sleepless nights we are here to listen. Lets beat these pigs.

I hate people like this! these people seem to think women are vulnerable and scared easily! these "bullies" don't have a clue who you are so just make out that they should be scared of you!!

Email the seller and be quite firm that acting on the advice of Ebay you are no longer obliged to purchase the item. Explain to the seller that he will have a wasted journey if he tries to deliver the win.
If seller does turn up don't open the door to him, and if he becomes persistent call the police. I doubt though that it will go that far, bullies only go for vulnerable people, if you are firm enough in your mail (but keep it ultra polite!) he will see it isn't worth the bother.

What were the items if you don't mind me asking? Was it yourself or Ebay who found out they weren't kosher?
I've seen so many so-called 'genuine' items that are so obviously fakes. I've seen quite a few "film cells" that are apparently "rare" yet for some reason there's always more than one for sale. In fact, I even saw one today at my local antique shop!
Other than avoiding such items with a barge-pole, do we have have to just trust that the seller is telling the truth?0 -
Tell him / her that you are contacting the relevant authorities since you believe their manner to be threatening in nature and that you now consider the matter closed. Also firmly point out that should you receive any further contact from him whatsoever, then you will consider it to be harrassment and report it as such. If you have his address, then find his local police station, and give them a ring with the details.
If the harrassment is being made by email then report the matter to his / her Internet Service provider. Remember to include the original email and forward it to the Abuse department of the ISP, so for example if the persons email address ends with @virgin.net the you should email the complaint to abuse@virgin.net0 -

The seller who has'nt contacted me for the past 24 hours is'nt aware that I work with the Special Branch and Customs and Excise something I will not tell him - can you imagine the look on his face if he continued to pursue this matter. In the mean time I have made my Ebay feedback private as his comments are offensive and await for there removel by Ebay.Rememember. Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.

If you've got a video camera then, if he becomes over the top when you dont answer the door, video him so you've got evdance. (However as a member of the Special Branch and Customs and Excise I dont really need to give you advice.)

This guy has pushed his luck. Yesterday he emailed me to say that he will be in my area today " shock horror all the way from Cambridge" I have advised this bully that his Harassment of the public will no longer be tolerated and pointed out the fact, who he has harassed, don't know why he has'nt replied , how'ever his details are being investigated.

I would love this to happen to me. There I would be , answering the door, 6ft tall, 3ft wide and an accomplished ex street fighter (i.e not very pretty) and say to nasty piece of work 'Yep, and you'll do what?'
I really don't have time for this kind of scumbag, and you will probably find out that it is a hard geezer only when hiding behind a VDU. The threat is as vacant as his mind, but at least you have an address to point your contacts towards, a little muck raking always goes a long way.I'm back after a break :money:0
