Amerun cut my power

My son and i were cold and i was dumb:( Amerun cut my power because i couldnt pay and forgot to call. It was 42° so cold weather rule didnt apply but im a petite woman and my son and i were cold and he needed internet we had no hot water or heat but had fireplace. I cut boot off meter and turned power back on. I intended to put back on and pay $156 in few days but they found out cut me off again and is demanding thousands before thwy will turn back on. Even while its in the teens they said when u tamper with meter u must pay price. Ive asked churches and charities for help but no one can help! Its been since thanksgiving since ive had power. We managed to get by with candles and firelace but then fire marshall came and said cant live here until electric restored so now im going broke paying for hotel every night!!!!:(:( I am at my wits end! :"(

Not much we can do about it here in the UK although I'd suggest that electrictiy is a bit more important than the internet. There's no excuse for tamering with the meter.

You are managing to pay for the hotel rooms - why can't you pay the electricity bill ?

Yes, businesses in America are real bast a rds. Not quite as bad as over here, but getting close.

Well Robyn my friends have helped with hotel and i stay at cheapest ones and find deals online. So no one pays over $60 my electric bill is $2400 and that amount is from years ago when a pipe in street burst causing my basement to flood and the rate increases late fees ect. My son was murdered in 2010 everything has been hard for me since then.
