thanks for the thread. Finally made it back!

A wee list

Hang up washing indoors
HM grub for lunch and tea cooked some reduced chicken last night when baking yorkshires :)
Freeze left over yorkshires quickly so they don't disappear
Work 6 hours garden - brr
Work 1 hour womble and sort next invoice
15 mins deculttering in the bedroom
Kitchen table also needs some attention since post apocolypic accounts session
Order bulb for car headlight and utoob how easy it is to fit ourselves
Skype DS re plan for weekend
Wrap up warm, walk mutts at work
empty d/washer later
pack up an extra lunch for next week for dh
start to sort food in freezer for lovely dog sitter arriving next week
Declutter some kitchen bits. You know as much as I hate to admit it, this decluttered area stuff that flylady talks about is much easier to keep tidy and I do have too many kitchen things hanging up. (5 fish slices......etc)
Chooks and mutts fed, do again later
Check for eggs clever girls still getting 2 a day
Firewood in
Go past ironmongers to see if any free pallets
Might ask about pallets at work as the contractors in there have lots lying around.

Should be enough eh?
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
:money:Sleeves up folks.:money:
• Afternoon all, thanks as ever to Ally for the start.

My last few days haven't been particularly DFW -

:( Boiler goes pop - knackered diverter valve. I'd have fixed it myself if I were there, but I'm not, so I have to pay for a plumber instead of fixing it myself.
:( International phone calls on a mobile
:) Accounts updated
:) 8 days 'til pay day
:) I'm pretty sure I won't be buying a cheap kitchen, however often they're advertised.

Ally - for some reason I have an image of you sitting in a dressing gown with a trilby on. I'm guessing it's a wooly hat though isn't it ;)

Hehehe. No, my hat is like this. (Link)

* Emailed my boss as my wages are 6 hours short this week. As I got a tax refund I actually have more than I was expecting but that's not the point. And they took £2.50 off for a pension that I've opted out of.

Got a reply saying I'll be paid the extra next Friday. It seems I got my colleagues wage, and he mine. Result.

Hi everyone

Hope things are going ok for you guys.

Thanks for the kick off Ally :A

Well hello there young Pippilongstocking :hello: Nice to ‘see’ you :)

Thanks for your thoughts yesterday guys....I’ve got a lot to think about over the next couple of weeks. I’ve looked into online EA options – my friend sent me a referral link so she gets £250 back and says she will split it with me and I also get so many weeks as a right move featured advert. Now I just need to spruce round but shouldn’t need any decorating as the place was completely re-done last year and it looks like the tenant took good care of it. Hopefully get it on the market the week after next. In the meantime I also put some ads on a local forum for rentals and for sale. Will also try gum tree and ask Fbook friends (the only thing putting me off this is that I don’t want my family to worry about the flat being empty – my mum will go into panic mode about us not being able to afford our bills :( so I’d rather keep it from them until things are more settled/we have a plan). Mum lives 300 miles away so not like she can help or family knows anyone etc. I could look into getting a tenant in the meantime and selling with a tenant in situ – this may be attractive for some but will also put some buyers off...and would be me relying on the tenant keeping it nice for viewings etc. Will give it a couple of months sans tenant and see where we are after that. Gosh – scary business.

In other news:
1. Free parking at work as colleague is still off
2. Remind OH to get something out of the freezer for tonight
3. Reply to biz email
4. Teaching tonight – hopefully two newbies from next week :A
5. Not shopping on lunch break :naughty:
6. Arranged night out with friends – said I was free on 16th April so time to save :rotfl:
7. Finish fingerless gloves this eve – haven’t been in the mood the past few days
8. Playing with YNAB

Not at all unfortunately - our new house is less than half the size of our last one and no garage. It's a good idea though! :)

* I got a £212 income tax refund. :D

This was from a successful claim for Marriage Tax Allowance:

"If you're married or in a civil partnership, you may be able to get up to £212 a year in your pocket with the new marriage allowance."
