Money taken but no email confirmation

Hi there,
I purchased from Argos (not the table and chairs everyone is going on about) on Saturday for the amount £274.12. I haven't received any acknowledgement email or text/call.
Thankfully I screenshot the information (as I have had problems in the past with another company).
The message I got on screen was " Thanks for placing your order. Unfortunately we can't confirm your order at the moment but we'll send you an email shortly (this may take a couple of hours during busy periods). There's no need to resubmit your order."
I checked my online banking yesterday and they have accepted payment (not pending any longer).
My question is do they need to honour my purchase or can they still stop it?
Any help would be appreciated before I call them?
Thanks

They can still cancel your order right up until the moment of dispatch.
The memo that you do actually have is confirmation that you have placed the order. Just not had it confirmed yet.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
I don't think "everybody" is going on about "table and chairs", I for one have not the slightest clue what you're talking about. Are they a good deal, should I be queuing outside my local Argos first thing tomorrow morning to buy them?0
