Bonusbond gift card (=Mastercard debit card) - impact on credit rating?

Hi,
I recently got a letter from E.ON, encouraging me to exchange my E.ON Reward Points to either Tesco Clubcard points or Bonusbond gift vouchers, before they expire. I called E.ON to exchange my points.
Although I had not heard about Bonusbond before, I went for this option since every 500 E.ON Reward Points = £5 in high street vouchers, restaurants etc, which seemed more value for points than via Tesco.
I have since checked Bonusbond gift cards online, and it seems these 'vouchers' come in form of a Mastercard (debit card), which had not been explained to me before. Two questions:
1) Is this equivalent to a store card?
2) Will this have an impact on my credit rating? (Frankly, these 'free' vouchers wouldn't be worth that.)

Now, I do not own any store card nor do I wish to own one. I wish this information was specified more clearly on both the E.ON and Bonusbond websites - but it isn't; and customer service at Bonusbond didn't know the answers either..

Could you please clarify the above?
Thank you.
Kind regards,
RFrank
