    No the above posts prove that certain diets don't work.

    The 5:2 does work because there are some good medical reasons but with all these things a lot depends on lifestyle changes....
    Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

    Yes started this week I'm on my third day , at the min it's very hard for me I'm starving but have been told after the first 5 days hunger goes. I hope so

    I'm new to this site and not good on working out if I have posted answer in the correct box or board ect . 3 rd day on Cambridge diet and I'm still starving , hope it gets better told it would after about day 5.

    it does get better, you should start to feel a bit better now you're on day 3, headaches should ease off between now and day 5 and you should feel less hungry.

    I did also try slim & save, it is essentially the same but I have to say I actually didn't like a lot of the shakes with them - I could cope with them, they just weren't as nice as cambridge! and the porridge was grim! Some of the other stuff was nice though.
