Advice about which laptop to buy

Hi all,

The wife is after a laptop for her work courses she has to do. It won't be used for any editing of photos or videos (that I know of).

I've shown her three and she has seen one (the first one below). Does anyone have any advice about which one is better?

What size of screen she want? Is she travel a lot?
What size of harddisk she need?
Will she want a small SSD with external HDD?

Screen size is at least 13 inches.

Hard drive isn't an issue, I've told her to get an SSD and I have a 1TB portable hard drive she can use if needs be.

I'd buy this one from ebuyer, £309:

    http://www.ebuyer.com/724689-hp-probook-450-g2-laptop-p5s40es-abu

You can then add your own 250GB M2 SSD drive (note this is a 42mm ssd slot so look for M2.2442) and an extra 4gb of memory so you have both an SSD drive, a 500GB HDD drive and 8gb of memory all for about £400. Note the spare M2 slot next to the Wifi card.

If you don't mind going up to £549 then this HP at PC World may interest you.

It is currently getting very hot on Hot UK Deals

Just be careful with HP laptops, they have had a lot of probs with glued hinges, which strangely come unstuck - just google it. having said that the ones suggested above might be fine.
