Hi guys
Been trying to book a holiday with Monarch hols. (Cheapest price I have found)
However after inputting our party details I attempt to continue to the payment screen, I receive the message 'unexpected exception occurred' I beginning to think is a problem with my browser.
Anyone any ideas what the problem could be if indeed it is my browser.

Of course not, that's nowhere near enough information to diagnose a problem, at the very least an exception code would be needed to stand any chance. It's probably simpler just to try another browser and see if it works with that.0

+1 for trying another browser.
I have three installed and if one for some reason doesn't work on a particular website I switch to another.
For example, for me there is a sound problem with Chrome and BBC Listen Now so I switch to Firefox. With Firefox a particular newspaper website displays incorrect images with the text so I switch to Chrome.
Now I am sure there are very good reasons why this is happening and if I had the patience, inclination and nothing better to do I am sure I could eventually sort out the reason why. But hey, life is too short so it's easier just to switch browsers.0 -
Ok thanks for your advice, tried it on ie, Firefox, and Microsoft edge with no luck on any. Getting the same on each browser at exactly the same point, (moving on from Names & Extras > Payment screen)
If anyone wants to try it on their computer/tablet/laptop please feel free and let me know how you get on0 -
The error message sounds like there's a problem with the backend coding of the website/payment portal. Have you tried contacting Monarch?0

Unexpected Exception is almost certainly a server-side error, way beyond your control (unless you're actively trying to hack the site, which is unlikely or you wouldn't be asking this question!). Often giving it a few moments and starting again will solve everything0
