Hi
Please move thread if it's not in the right section.
I booked VW Golf automatic through alamo.co.uk to be picked up from Copenhangen Airport and payment on collection.
I received my web booking it said I have Collision Damage Waiver, VAT, Unlimited Mileage.
Comes the day of pick up, it was snowing in Denmark. The guy offered tyre windscreen protection and bridge toll device.
I said yes. He carried out the contract, printed a copy and gave it to me. I noticed it was charged at much higher price than the one I received in my email upon booking.
He said it will be refunded.
Then I returned the car after 3 days at the airport terminal, their staff advised I will receive an email receipt etc.
So today I received an email saying all was fine and I do not owe any money.
And then they had attached the invoice.
I noticed they charged Collision Damage Waiver and Super Collision Damage Waiver, VAT, CCFEE, Roadside Assistance, and other things.
I did not use credit card, I used debit card, also I did not ask for roadside assistance.
And VAT and Damage waiver was included in the initial booking I received.
I sent back them email telling them all this.
But the guy insist the contract was right.
I have different figures on all three contracts and with some information missing from some of them.
First contract issued through web booking.
Second contract upon collection the car.
Third contract I received in the mail when I returned the car.
How do I go about this and get my extra paid money back ?
Thanks for all your help.

If you are confident that the version of the contract that you signed when you picked up the car did not require you to pay for the extra items, and Alamo will not refund you, then you can ask your bank to do a Chargeback.

I have asked them to refund the extra charges, they said nothing is incorrect.
And I told them then I will need to contact European Car Rental Conciliation Service.
I can post all the contract received here if that would help ?0
