Like all the others think, it is a very strange thing for a court to do.
I wonder why they say admit part liability and then make an offer ?
What part of any liability do you think they want ?

Is it possible you can scan the letter. You will not be able to upload here but use say Photobucket to upload.
    http://s5.photobucket.com/
It's free and you need to create a quick account

Then if you post the link here but instead of using www, use xxx and a regular will make it live. As a new member, you cannot yet post the link yourself.

Remember to block out your personal details, everyone is interested to see this.

You are of course aware that UKPC are well known as fraudsters and the courts are well aware of this as is the DVLA

Thank you for this - i will upload ASAP and look forward to hearing all of your thoughts!

Sorry, that was a summary in my own words! It is £255 or submit an offer if i accept part liability.

Yes, I did recieve a letter like this before Xmas instructing that I had 2 weeks. However, almost all oftheir letters over a 9 month period implied impending court action.

    - you have been asked a question above that you have not answered. Was this claim actually from Northampton Court or was it from the Parking Company? This is a vital point that needs an answer.

If it was definitely from the Northampton court, have you filed a reply tet?

It was definitely from Northampton. I was able to go online last week and submit my acknowlegdement of service, however I need to pull a defence togehter pretty quickly! This is where I am struggling! I cannot find too many threads regarding those who have got to this stage.

Now you have acknowledged this claim, then you have more time - an acknowledgement extends the time allowed to appeal from 14 to 28 days (not just restarts the clock|).

So you have 28 days from the "date of service" of the claim (which is 5 days after the date of issue shown top right on the claim form) - lots of time, bearing in mind you only got the claim last Friday.

There is plenty of help both here and elsewhere on the net - have you followed the advice in #4 and bought the guide?

Come back with your draft and you will get advice on whether it needs tweaking.

Do not get too stressed about this, here are the people who are threatening you, low life scammers,

UKPC are former clampers who have been involved in quite a number of sordid scams, for example

Hull Trading Standards took them to court on 15 counts of fraud. They won all but one, but only because they had a better lawyer, a Q.C. If I recall correctly

    http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=63597

They were bested by a Winchester barrister

    http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?377246-UKPC-liable-for-trespass-**SUCCESS**

They were involved in a large scale scam which resulted in a DVLA suspension

And then of course there was Tracey Kiss

Search 'UKPC Court pepipoo' on Google. And search 'UKPC Court' in this forum.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

and post #4 also told you where to look, with links

post #1 has a court section two thirds of the way down

plus the pranksters booklet would also help

there are maybe up to ten threads a month with court claim details on here, so as coupon-mad says, use the forum search box with suitable search words (not many UKPC ones but plenty of PE ones and the odd UKCPS and CEL and Excel cases etc)
