Hi all, just wondering if anyone can tell me if prices shown on comparisons and also on the cheap energy club are inclusive of vat.

I have a quote from Gb energy via cheap energy club and I can't see anywhere mention of vat on the unit rates and standing daily charge.

MSE CEC includes VAT. In the GBEnergy Premium Saver Contract: the rates are as follows:

Electricity standing charge (£/day): £0.1505 per day excluding VAT

Unit Rate 10.0275p/kWh

Premium Energy Saver 10 January 2016
Domestic Unrestricted

In other words, the standing charge is £0.158025 per day and the unit rate is £0.10200275 per kWh.

When I use the above prices in a spreadsheet, I get the same annual price

Thanks hengus for your reply, I phoned gb in the end as their website was having a funny turn!

Lad on the phone quoted me ( I specifically ask for ex vat prices) 9.5266 per unit and 12.364 standing charge. That seems different to your figures though. Prices are for premium energy saver tariff.

Prices do depend upon area they are not nationwide .
