Will this PC Desktop run GTA 5?

Looking to get a cheap desktop for some business work and hoping this might be able to run GTA 5 so i can have a sneaky go on it.

Will this spec run GTA 5 when i install Windows 7 at say 720p and be playable?

it is not the best buy a long way , the memory fitted is there to give it some power , why do you need a 1t drive , it should have a ssd and a smaller storage unit.


I would not recommend that unit


a couple of days ago I posted about a AMD Athlon 5350 and motherboard that cost £60 , people shot it down

minimum spec for the vid card is a NVidia GeForce gtx 660 , the machine you quote has onboard graphics radieon 8370D

That AMD 5350 processor certainly does look great value, considering it only costs £36.

yup , now sat in a M350 case http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mini-Box-M350-Universal-Mini-ITX-enclosure/dp/B005TX3LA4 with a wifi dongle behind the ft panel , now running a 240g ssd , 500g sata 3 drive , 8 g memory and win 10 , it runs cool and rather fast sat on that MSI AM11 m/board

for AMD, most of the A8 or A10s will meet/exceed the min spec. The gfx min is not great, anything 7660D or better will cope with it ok.

I had a pentium dual core g3258 (granted no hyperthreading) at 4.2-4.6ghz) and GTA5 ran like crap - frame rate would drop from 40 to less than 1 FPS.

Spent £80 on an i5 4440 @ 3.1ghz to replace and paired up with my 750ti GTX it runs at 1080p with most of the bells and whistles on (no msaa though)

Apparently an i3 might work ok, but I wouldn't bother with anything less than 4 proper cores nowadays
