Is being Partially Sighted a "Medical Condition"

I know that's a strange question, but I am doing some PPI claim forms and it asked about existing medical conditions. I was born blind in one eye, its not degenerative (although there are associated genetic issues that are related that COULD come on at any point in life, such as organ failure and retina detachment). I have so far never had these yet.

I have always worked full time, never claimed for it. But I wasn't sure if that is generally regarded as a medical condition as it doesn't stop me doing anything (other than watching 3D movies and juggling!)

Thank you!

You might as well list it, it probably won't affect the outcome of your PPI complaint, but if it did, it would only be in a positive way.

Only a pre-existing medical condition which might preclude a claim on the PPI is relevant.
So don't over complicate your complaint with useless information about your eyesight, concentrate on your real mis-selling reasons.

Are you claiming on your PPI and complaining about the selling of PPI? The two could not be more different. If the latter, what is your reason for complaint?

Minor pre-existing conditions are not an issue with PPI. It is quite acceptable to have a pre-existing condition if it is something that does not reduce the likelihood of a claim in respect of other illness. if the illness/condition is more serious, then it can have an impact and make the cover unsuitable.

Not an issue in respect of PPI.
