"The OP hasn't given PE the same choice." Is that true though? In my situation, I made PE a 'drop hands' offer of, if I recall correctly, £10; ponting out that their costs wouldn't have exceeded this amount, but mine probably would (taking into account all the time I'd necessarily spent in researching how to appeal their speculative invoice, then subsequently Appeal to POPLA, and then appeal their 35 page Evidence Pack... (which, at the time I didn't know I would receive...).0

Thanks for the comments. i just approached it as a series of invoices i sent for the costs i said that i would be incurring in defending the action at popla. and in the vent that i lost then i wld present them with invoices for these costs for reimbursement. they were written to all along the way and letters sent recorded delivery. they received them and chose not to respond. giess its up to me now to make the case as best i can in court and trust to the law to try and get these reimbursed. should be very interesting and i do hope they turn up to defend as i think it has potential to get some issues aired.0

obviously they dont want you setting a precedent, albeit its only at county court level and so not binding on lower courts, but it could be if it was pursued like nthe Beavis case, to higher courts
I now wonder what the result was in Banbury then ?0 -
It must be catching. There is a second case this week with ParkingEye in the defendant's chair. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Really interest to here if you get this resolved!
I've got a similar dispute ongoing and wasn't sure where to turn next. X0 -

Read the 'NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST' thread near the top please and if you are at a late stage like POPLA, read up on that and then start a new thread.
Don't ignore them. Don't miss appeal deadlines. Don't appeal with 'the story of what happened'. COMPLAIN to the landowner or retailer of course.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You must start your own thread. If you mean you have managed to lose at POPLA
I read it as he/she was at court stage or had won in court already. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
It must be catching. There is a fourth case with ParkingEye in the defendant's chair. Norwich on 5th.
