When can I expect to see my bill online?

I re-joined Eon on 24th Sept 2015 and was asked for a reading in early Jan for my bill to be produced on 12th Jan but I cannot view it on-line.
over 73 but not over the hill.

I have had my bills the same day as I submitted reads - joined in Sep, submitted monthly reads and had bills straight away. I assume monthly DD, has your account balance decreased ?

    Morning r2015.

Bit strange. Usually, when accounts are in what we call the 'billing window,' bills are issued within 24 hours of receiving readings. For quarterly billed customers, the window is open 14 days either side of the next bill date. Given the dates you mention and that we asked for a reading, I would expect you're in the window and that the bill would be issued once you gave us readings. Did you send the readings online? If you did, were they accepted okay with no error message?

If outside the window, you have an option of seeing how much the readings would result in or actually creating your own bill. To do this, you need to choose 'Request a Bill.' This option isn't available if inside the 'billing window.'

I'll be happy to take a look if you drop an email to the address in my Profile. Please include up to date meter readings.

I am in the "billing window" and received an e-mail this morning to submit a read "soon". Put a read in just now and my account balance changed immediately. Put the read in my spreadsheet and my balance there agreed so definitely something strange going with yours.

Glad all went well with your billing molerat. If you ever want to check your balance or even issue a bill outside of the 'billing window,' you can use the 'Real Time Billing' tool I mentioned to r2015. Just pop in readings and you'll have the choice of seeing the balance that would result or actually issuing a bill by choosing 'Request a Bill.' It's a great way of keeping track of how much you're spending on energy so no sudden shocks.

    Hope this is of interest.
